The researcher has conducted extensive work on several key areas that collectively contribute to advancing AI safety research. Their focus spans multiple dimensions of decision-making under uncertainty, abstract approaches to achieving artificial general intelligence (AGI), causal reasoning in decision contexts, collaboration between agents for multi-agent systems, and the modeling of complex interaction dynamics. These themes reflect a commitment to understanding how AI systems can be designed to think, act, and learn rationally while addressing existential risks.
Faculty Biography
Dr. Amponsah Peprah is a Lecturer, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, School of Medicine and Dentistry, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology - Kumasi, Senior Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) - Kumasi. He holds Fellowship of The Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons (FGCS), and MPH with the School of Public Health, KNUST, Ghana.He is currently the Head of the Family Planning and Reproductive Health Centre at KATH. He is an advocate of women affairs and takes keen interest in Reproductive Health issues. His research interest is in Women Health/Reproductive Health.
