Faculty Biography
Dr Martin Kofi Agyei is a Physician Specialist since October, 2006. He obtained his Doctorate Degree in Medicine in 1996 at Ukrainian State Medical University, Kiev. He started his House Job at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in 1998. He wrote his Membership Exams of the West African College of Physicians in October, 2006. He travelled to London to pursue a Masters postgraduate course in Clinical Dermatology at King's College and completed in 2008. When he returned, he applied for a Lecturer Post at KNUST in 2009 and started teaching Dermatology at the Medical school as a part time Lecturer. He was later considered an adjunct lecturer and continued teaching in that capacity until April 2014 when finally his application was granted as a full time Lecturer.He is the only Dermatologist in the Department of Medicine. He teaches in addition clinical medicine. He is the only one who is currently handling the entire Dermatology course for the Physician Assistants.
