Faculty Biography
Dr. Rex Djokoto is a lecturer at the School of Medical Sciences, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He is also a Senior Specialist at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology; Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. He is a visiting consultant to several other health facilities.Dr. Djokoto is a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons and holds a certificate in Assisted Reproductive Techniques from Nova Pulse IVF Clinic in India.He is client-focused and shows great solicitude towards his patients; a trait which led to his being adjudged the best Senior Specialist in the Obstetrics and Gynaecological Department, KATH in 2014/2015.He is passionate about helping to reduce maternal mortality in Ghana. In that direction, he serves on many committees which implement decisions/protocols to mitigate the menace. He also has special interest in helping infertile couples conceive via the use of Assisted Reproductive Techniques.He strongly believes in impacting the next generation and takes keen interest in teaching medical students and residents.
