Research focuses on developing advanced systems for evaluating building performance using quantitative metrics derived from environmental data, combining computational methods with empirical analysis to improve existing tools and methodologies in sustainable design and assessment within the physical sciences domain.
Faculty Biography
Ms Ama Darkwah Osei Assibey Antwi is a building construction engineer who commenced her journey in 2019. She joined the university as an assistant lecturer. She serves the department of Land economy as the departmental welfare committee representative, the multiple-choice examination assessment officer as well as a research fellow. Her teaching sectors are facility management (space planning and management, asset management), estate management, research methodology as well as building construction. Prior to joining the academic family, she was a practising consultant, a freelance quantity surveyor. She is a Co-founder of Firmrock Developers Limited, a member of the International Facility Managers Association(IFMA), Institute of Engineers(IET), and a few other accredited sources.
