Daniel Atuah Obeng
The researcher's work integrates contributions from multiple domains to address transportation and related challenges in developing countries, with a focus on urban mobility, pedestrian safety, infrastructure maintenance, economic policies, maritime logistics, climate change, and flood risk management. By synthesizing findings across themes such as traffic and road safety, transportation and mobility innovations, infrastructure maintenance and monitoring, transport and economic policies, Maritime Ports and Logistics, Climate Change, Adaptation, Migration, Urban Transport and Accessibility, Human Mobility and Location-Based Analysis, Flood Risk Assessment and Management, and others, the researcher provides a holistic understanding of transportation challenges in Ghana.
Faculty Biography
OBENG Daniel Atuah is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering of the College of Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Civil Engineering and a Bachelro of Science degree in Civil Engineering all from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Daniel also posses a Master of Science degree in Transportation Planning and Policy from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom.
