This paper synthesizes extensive research on international development aid, focusing on its effects on policies and social outcomes, drawing insights from themes such as Ghana’s reliance on foreign aid for development efforts. By examining Ghana’s case, the study highlights both the policy measures that achieve transformative change and their long-term social consequences. The research contributes to a deeper understanding of how international aid can influence macroeconomic development and fosters lessons learned from its diverse experiences.
