Focused on food security, climate change challenges, and gender roles, they examine topics ranging from rice diversification to certification schemes for organic vegetables, emphasizing the need for holistic solutions that promote equity, inclusivity, and policy support.

Faculty Biography

Seth Etuah is a Senior Lecturer/Researcher at the Department of Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, and Extension in the Faculty of Agriculture, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. He holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from KNUST. His research focuses on true pricing, consumer economics, food market integration, price volatility analysis, food and nutrition security, efficiency and productivity analysis, and project impact assessment. Seth has conducted several studies in the fields of Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, and agricultural marketing and consulted for reputable local and international organizations such as the World Food Program (WFP-Ghana office), Overseas Development Institute (ODI-UK), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ- Ghana office) and Agency for Health and Food Security (AHEFS)-Ghana, among others. Seth is very proficient in the use of different econometric tools to analyze cross-sectional, panel, and time-series data.
