Faculty Biography
James Frimpong- Asante is an architect by profession and a lecturer at the Department of Land Economy, College of Art and Built Environment, KNUST. He holds an MSc and Post Graduate Diploma Degrees in Architecture and a BSc Design Degree all from the Department of Architecture, KNUST.He is an Associate Member of the Ghana Institute of Architects and a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing, UK (MCIH- UK). Having practiced on his own and in two different forms before his appointment, he has vast experience in design and construction that comes to bear as he teaches Building Construction, Building Services, and other related courses both at the theory and practical levels. On the professional front, Mr. Frimpong-Asante has done a lot of works on housing, hotels, hostels, etc., and community-based projects like church buildings, orphanages (eg. Village of Hope- Ghana), and schools.
