Grace Kusi
The researcher's work focuses on understanding support systems and challenges faced by caregivers of people with illnesses, spanning social and health contexts. Research examines caregiving experiences among family caregivers of breast cancer patients in low-and middle-income countries, explores the motivations and challenges of caregiving for advanced breast cancer patients in Ghana, investigates navigating complications at a stoma center in Ghana, and evaluates nurse knowledge on pediatric pain management techniques.
Faculty Biography
Miss Grace Kusi is an Assitant Lecturer with the department of Nursing, KNUST. She holds MPhil in Nursing degree from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Grace's research interest is centered on answering specific questions on” experiences of family caregivers of patients diagnosed with cancer.” Looking more at her long term goals, it is her passion to take on leadership roles in nursing research and in the area of cancer research.
