The researcher conducts multidisciplinary research spanning various social sciences domains, examining multiple aspects within these fields. Their work encompasses themes such as business strategy and innovation, career development and diversity, subtitles and audiovisual media, misinformation and its impacts, copyright and intellectual property, occupational health and safety research, digital games and media, color perception and design, customer service quality and loyalty, hearing impairment and communication, cultural industries and urban development, and the complexities of fonts in disfluent experiments. Their methodology integrates both quantitative and qualitative approaches across different disciplines to explore these themes comprehensively.
Faculty Biography
Dr (Mrs) Lucy Afeafa Ry-Kottoh is an educator and researcher in Publishing Studies and Management, a Commonwealth Scholar, who has taught in higher education since 2001. She has supervised over 60 undergraduates and postgraduate students over the period. She served as the Head of the Department of Publishing Studies from 2009 to 2011.Her research interests include Print and Digital Publishing, Micro-Publishing (social media publishing and use), Communication, Book Trade, Publishing Management, Financial Management, Marketing, Scholarly Publishing, Educational Development, and Disability Issues.She is currently the Chairperson of The KNUST Advisory Team on Disability.
