Faculty Biography

Robert is Professor of Agricultural Economics at the Department of Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness Extension in the Faculty of Agriculture, KNUST-Kumasi. He holds PhD and MSc Degrees in Agricultural Economics from KNUST, and a Certificate in Agribusiness and Postharvest management from Galilee International Management Institute (GIMI), Israel. Robert has conducted various studies in the agricultural/agribusiness sector over the past 22 years and published extensively (over 100 papers) in international peer reviewed journals. He has led different research and consultancy teams to conduct research/consultancy assignments for reputable local and international organizations such as the World Bank/International Finance Corporation (IFC), United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR-Ghana office), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), International Labour Organization (ILO-Ghana office), United Nations World Food Program (WFP-Ghana office), Danida, German Technical Organization (GIZ), International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA-Ibadan, Nigeria), USAID ASSESS Project, Tree Crops Development Authority (TCDA), Ghana Cocobod, Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA-Ghana), Overseas Development Institute (ODI-UK), and Ministry of Food and Agriculture-Ghana, among others.
