Isaac Akpor Adjei
The researcher has developed a unified approach at the intersection of applied mathematics, food science, health sciences, environmental studies, and interdisciplinary research, with a focus on bridging physical, life, and social sciences through innovative mathematical models and statistical frameworks to address challenges across diverse domains.
Faculty Biography
Isaac Akpor Adjei received his BSc and MSc Mathematics degrees from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana, in the years 2003 and 2006 respectively. He later pursued and was awarded a Master of Statistics degree (Distinction) with a specialization in Biostatistics, at the Universiteit Hasselt, Belgium, in 2015.He is passionate about making sense out of data, and the use of statistical techniques to solve real-life problems. He collaborates with researchers from multidisciplinary backgrounds. His passion is to make students understand the subject matter. He has a number of publications in refereed journals and has published articles in Mathematics, Agriculture, Nutrition, and Biostatistics.He has been with KNUST since 2007. He plays a role in the day-to-day activities of the Department and currently, he is a senior lecturer in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science.
