Research Overview & Focus

The researcher focuses on examining various psychological and systemic issues in healthcare settings that impact both patient well-being and the nursing profession, including burnout, adverse events, mental health challenges, work-family balance, and treatment access, with a particular emphasis on how these factors influence stakeholders from patients to professionals, families, educators, managers, and higher education.

Faculty Biography

Mr Collins Atta Poku is an assistant lecturer in the Department of Nursing, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He holds MPhil in Nursing from the University of Ghana and a Bachelor degree in Nursing from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals. Collins has presented his research works in journals and at international conferences across the globe.
