The researcher's efforts have led to advancements in sustainable construction practices, reinforced concrete design, and the utilization of advanced materials like neural networks for load estimation models, demonstrating a holistic approach to materials science and engineering applications.
Faculty Biography
Mark Adom-Asamoah is a Professor of Civil Engineering in the Department of Civil Engineering, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi. He holds a PhD from the University of Bristol, UK, an MSc and DIC from the Imperial College of Science, Technology & Medicine, University of London and a BSc from KNUST. He is a Fulbright Fellow, Commonwealth Scholar and British Council Scholar.He has been a visiting scholar at the Arizona State University, USA, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA and University of Bristol, UK. He was a visiting lecturer at the National University of Rwanda, Butare, Rwanda.
