Research Overview & Focus
The researcher's work focuses primarily on the role of pharmaceuticals and their bioactive compounds in health sciences and life sciences. Their studies span themes including the monitoring of antacids and pesticides, antibiotic use and resistance, phenodynamic and pharmacogenetic aspects of plant medicine, analytical methods for drug residue assessment, and its impact on human health and environmental impacts. Key findings include advancements in identifying pharmacophore motifs in plants, rigorous methodologies for analyzing compound bioactivity and pharmacophores, and innovations in assessing antiparasitic residues in herbal products.
Faculty Biography
I was born and brought up in Koforidua, Eastern region, Ghana. Belong to a family of of six with my parents, me and my younger brother and two big sisters. Had my secondary eductaion at Ofori Panin and Pope John secondary school respectively for my ordinary and advanced level. I enjoy Extra-curricular activities like sports, travelling, crafts, etc. I trained as a pharmacist for my Bachelor degree and now a teacher at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
