The researcher's primary focus is centered around HIV/AIDS research and interventions within the Health Sciences domain, particularly in Ghana, where they explore peer support programs for HIV testing and culturally grounded prevention strategies. This work extends to health policy implementation science, examining how HIV interventions can be effectively implemented with a focus on marginalized populations, such as minority men. The integration of smart grid energy management systems into their research highlights the potential role of technology in enhancing power quality and reducing harmonics, which could indirectly support healthcare initiatives. Finally, addressing power quality issues within Ghana's electricity distribution system demonstrates the researcher's commitment to improving both health outcomes and infrastructure efficiency. Faculty Biography
Patrick Appiah is a lecturer at the Department of Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness and Extension, KNUST. I obtained my MPhil in Agricultural Extension from the University of Cape Coast and my B.Sc. Agriculture from the KNUST-Kumasi. My teaching and research interest includes management of agricultural extension organisations, competencies of agricultural extension agents, development and management of cooperative societies and farmer-based organisations, and application of information and communications technologies (ICT) in agricultural extension and advisory services.
