Faculty Biography
Dr. Addo completed his undergraduate studies in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Ghana, graduating as the best student from the faculty of engineering sciences. He went on to earn a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Medical Physics from the same university, focusing on dosimetry in external photon beam radiotherapy.He obtained his PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, where his dissertation centered on developing an in-silico model to advance arterial spin labeling magnetic resonance imaging (ASL MRI). His work has been published in various scientific journals, and his research contributions include optimizing pulmonary perfusion measurement and characterizing GafChromic EBT2 film for dose measurements in radiotherapy.
