James Oppong-Kyekyeku
The researcher has conducted extensive work on bioactive compounds, integrating microbial natural products and phytochemicals into their health and biomedical research. Their work spans diverse domains, including immune modulation, inflammatory bowel disease, metabolic disorders, and Zebra fish biomedical applications. Additionally, they have made significant contributions to analytical methods in this field, focusing on bioactivity studies of key compounds across various plant families.
Faculty Biography
Dr James Oppong-Kyekyeku graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with B.Pharm(Pharmacy), M.Phil. and PhD (Pharmaceutical Chemistry). He had his secondary education at Opoku Ware School in Kumasi. He has been a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana since 2009. He is a DAAD alumnus.
