The researcher primarily focuses on ergonomics and ergonomics-related studies, including issues related to computer vision syndrome, refractive disorders, and near visual device usage among Ghanaian staff. The field also encompasses assistive technology in communication and mobility, such as smartphone use by individuals with severe visual impairments. Additionally, the researcher examines ocular health and conditions within the Ghanaian population, covering various aspects like dry eye, contact lens assessment, and immunological studies. The work includes older adult driving trends, traffic safety measures, and public health initiatives in Ghana. There is a strong emphasis on ergonomics in relation to public health and individual development, including factors influencing optometry students to practice rural education. Faculty Biography

Samuel Boadi is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Forest Resources Technology, Faculty of Renewable Natural Resources. He has over eight years of experience in teaching and research in  social issues in resource management, agroforestry, forestry and other related fields of resource management.  He has worked as part of a team of consultants engaged to train planning officers of selected MMDAs in the Juaboso-Bia landscape on how to integrate natural resources and the environment into Local Government Medium Term Development Plans.
