The researcher's work focuses on land rights and social reforms across both Life Sciences and traditional domains in Ghana, analyzing legal implications of allocation papers in land transactions and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms involving chiefs and tenders in the Kumasi traditional areas, as well as other regions.
Faculty Biography
Kwaku Obeng Mireku is a lawyer, a valuation and estate surveyor, and an entrepreneur. He is the principal consultant at First Global Real Estate, a private property services firm. Kwaku is also a managing partner at Wiredu-Peprah, Oduro & Co. (Asomdwoe Chambers), a private legal firm. He lecturers on part-time at the Department of Land Economy (KNUST) and the Estate Management Department (KsTU). He is a member of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS) and the Ghana Bar Association. His published books include The Making of Surveyors (2021), Asante Lands: A practical Guide to Stool Land Acquisition and Documentation (2021), Real Estate Agency Law and Practice in Ghana (2024) and Customary Property Valuation (2025).
