Faculty Biography
Richard Buamah has about 25 years’ experience in the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene sector. His experience covers the monitoring and evaluation / performance assessment of WASH technologies in Africa; Formulation of Technologies introduction and scalability framework; Screening of Water Quality of Surface and Groundwater Resources; Development of filters for contaminant removal from Water and Wastewater; Building capacity and evaluation of WASH interventions.He was the Coordinating Dean of the new KNUST Obuasi Campus from 2019 to 2023 and is currently the Head of Civil Engineering Department.He has over forty publications to his credit in book chapters and peer reviewed journals.
