The researcher's research focuses on integrating renewable energy innovations across African regions, particularly solar systems and rockets. This work highlights advancements in photovoltaics and rocket propulsion, with a strong emphasis on water management and traffic engineering solutions for Ghana. The study emphasizes the importance of developing efficient systems to address challenges in renewable energy, ensuring sustainable development, while also advancing monitoring technologies and manufacturing processes that enhance environmental sustainability in public spaces.
Faculty Biography
Prof. Yesuenyeagbe A.K. Fiagbe is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi. He holds Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with focus on Aircraft Design. He has a specialty in Fluid mechanics, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and other related subjects. He currently teaches at undergraduate level, fluid mechanics/dynamics, Hydraulics and Pneumatics and at the postgraduate level, Lubrication and wear, and Advanced fluid dynamics. In the past, he taught Technical/Engineering Drawing, Materials Engineering and others. His research interest are in areas of technology development for indigenous systems, Computation fluid dynamics. He has developed a tensile testing machine, Lift-tipping mechanism for tricycle for municipal waste disposal. He is currently developing mechanized kente weaving loom. One of his current research focus is investigation of engineering properties of various natural fibres in Ghana.
