Ruth Carre Brenyah
The researcher has conducted extensive studies focusing on several critical areas within public health and nutrition, including malaria research, renal diseases, parasitic interactions, insect pest control strategies, mosquito-borne disease management, nutritional conditions in African populations, HIV-related complications, and economic valuation of health issues. Their work integrates modern approaches to parasitology, emphasizes the role of vector diversity, and highlights the importance of integrated health interventions across diverse domains.
Faculty Biography
I have done a lot of work in entomology and parasitology at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. But I have keen Vector Control. I have also done research into diabetes, HIV and Urinalysis.I have lectured in many Undergraduate programmes as shown below and also 4th year Clinical students at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital over the years in various aspects of Public Health and even some Veterinary Problems that relate to the role of Arthropods in human and animal health that can be collectively referred to as Medical Entomology. At the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital I also lecture and demonstrate to Medical Laboratory students in the 3rd and 4th year in the Parasitology laboratory.As a member of the Organization for Women in Science for Developing World Ghna Chapter, I am passionate about encouraging girls in science.
