Faculty Biography

Hadrat Yusif is a Professor at the Department of Economics, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi-Ghana. He holds PhD in Economics from the National University of Malaysia and has been teaching since 1991. He teaches monetary economics and statistics for economists. He uses his expertize to serve as a reviewer for reputable local and international peer reviewed journals. He has served as an external examiner for a number of public universities in Ghana.  His research interest is in economics of education, monetary economics and microfinance.  He has benefited from research grants from national organizations including the Rural Enterprises Programme under the Ministry of Trade. His research works have appeared in international conference proceedings and also in reputed peer reviewed journals. Email: hadraty@yahoo.co.uk
