About

Kafui Ocloo has several years of experience in the field of Development Planning and in the management of development projects. Her research areas span endogenous development, peri-urban development, regional development planning, institutional development, water and sanitation. Dr. Ocloo’s work experiences have span the conduct of empirical research, needs assessments, preparation of development plans, facilitation, strategy development and development related communication activities among others.  With her background in the field of communication she has had the advantage of being able to bring knowledge in communication strategy development to bear on development planning.  This has seen her involved in programs that have required the application of communication for development; such as resettlement and community-led development projects.
