Isaac Acquah is a Senior Lecturer in the Biomedical Engineering at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. He graduated from KNUST in 2005, with a BSc. in Computer Engineering. After serving for a year as a Teaching Assistant at KNUST, he studied for a Masters in Biomedical Engineering at University of Surrey, England. He joined KNUST as one of the pioneering faculty members for the Biomedical Engineering program. He obtained his doctoral degree in Biomedical Engineering from Korea University, South Korea.His research focusses  bioinstrumentation, Medical AI applications and development of healthcare technologies.
