Dr. Charles Sekyere is a lecturer at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi-Ghana, and also a research fellow at The Brew-Hammond Energy Center (TBHEC) at KNUST. Dr Sekyere is also a certified Sustainable Energy Audit Professional (SEAP). Dr. Sekyere spent the first eight (8) years of his academic career at the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Kumasi Technical University and about two (2) years at the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) prior to his appointment at KNUST. Dr. Sekyere has accumulated over thirteen (13) years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, an Energy Systems Analysts/advisor, Energy Auditor and Sustainable/Clean Energy Technologist. He is an Energy expert with a great deal of experience in modelling, design and development of sustainable/clean energy systems including solar crop drying (foos security), solar PV systems, bioenergy systems, residential and vehicular indoor air quality management. He is also experienced in HVAC systems design and performance evaluation, Gas turbine performance analysis and evaluation, industrial pollution and Energy Efficiency. Charles is also a member of the KNUST Sustainable Energy Service Centre (KNUST-SESC) team.
